Does Google know too much about you?

Does Google know more about you then you want them to?
Shoes, the latest sports, weather, what's going on in remote corners of the world; You name it. If you can ask it, and now if you can speak it you can find it on Google. If you need a helpful hand with online classes for college or if you just need to find an old friend Google is your best friend. Or is it?
Remember a time when you wanted to find info for a class project you would get in your car and go to the library. If you needed to find an old friend or loved one you would have to start at the root of your relationship. Now, lets be clear. I use Google daily for just about everything so in no way am I implying they aren't a great and dynamic source for virtually everything. But when I look at what Google has started to do it got me wondering.
My Facebook page allows me to present my location via Google places on my Samsung smart phone. Anywhere I go I can check in and it will post on my Facebook status. I have nothing to hide but at the same time that can be kind of scary. The mere fact that Google is able to monitor all my previous visited locations makes me wonder why is it so important? When I do random searches of friends I find just about everything I want from the Google search engine. The more you have a cyber social life the more easier it is to find you or learn about your interest. My intentions are friendly and I don't see myself changing anytime soon. But what about those who don't have your privacy or interest at heart. Aren't they surfing the net too?
Recently many web sites have applied additional security processes to help with privacy infringement. But is it enough? MasterCard was hacked, PS3 was hacked, even US and other Government agencies across the world have been hacked so the question is can Google be hacked also? And if it could be hacked then what does that mean to you? Well, if you use Google to pay any bills or have any credit card credentials on their server then your entire financial security could be at risk. Your direct location can be exposed and most of all your identity would be completely compromised. The sad thing is even if you were to go back and delete all you could, shut down all your social accounts or even just stopped using the net period it may already be to late.
To add to the subject. As Google grows and becomes more and more powerful they are doing 2 things we know for sure. 1) They are able to map just about the entire world with exceptions of our Military Depots. 2) They are profiling everyone for 3rd party marketing and even for artificial intelligence. We're not talking about creating avatars for everyone. This isn't science fiction. We're more leaning towards being able to build personality reports for governments. Trending traits you may have, social and media interactions, and behavior analysis is just the start or how strong the Google machine is and what they are developing, even capable of doing. Your last job, your bad day at that last job and the reason why you left that job could possibly be on Google. Don't believe me? Search your name and see what you find on Google.
There is one subject that I got from an old man. It may be far fetched or extreme but apparently he's not the only old guy who believes this. I mean not to imply but I found this opinion very chilling. He said, "Google is the mark of the beast!" Wow. So with this statement and the strong content or that terminology I asked for more insight of why someone would say that about an incorporation. Then I got my answer and boy did it get the mouse back on the wheel. Here's what he said;
"If you take the word Google and look at it you would just see ""Google"" But if you break it down and Turn G into a 6 then take the lower case g and flip it that would also make a 6. Then if you count the letters G1 o2 o3 g4 l5 e6, then put all three numbers together you get 666. Take the 2 o's and they turn into eyes because Google is all seeing and even all knowing." I was like woooow. Then he finished with the most strongest point one can make and would be a great argument for religious scholars. He said, " The more you post on Google the more you feed the beast. The more you feed the beast the more blind you become. The mark of the beast isn't some chip they will implant in you. That's to much and the people would never go for it because it's what they expect to happen in the end times. The chip that will track you will need to be something that you would never think twice about. Your cell phone. Your cell phone tracks you all day everyday, even when it's powered off. You depend on it. Some people need it like fresh air. Google and Apple may be different companies but have the same thing in mind. Human interaction. The wave of global currency will utterly be held and scanned from your cell phone in the next 10 years , marketing experts predict."
With that said, I just sat there and wondered what if this fragile old mans words held weight? What if? So now Im asking you. Do you think Google knows more then they should about you?
Do you think Google knows too much about you?
Do you think Google is getting to smart?

YES THEY DO!
It should be "too" in the title not "to." You'll lose trust from your readers right away if you have typos in the headline so make sure you start strong. Otherwise, it is an interesting topic.
